Request a Buddy, Be a Buddy.

Have you recently relocated or still feel in limbo after a relocation? Gain support from another relocating partner or spouse like yourself who understands what you are going through. Those who request a buddy gain the support of a confidant who has been in their shoes. Those who become a buddy can give back to others who may be going through challenges they have already experienced themselves by providing tips and advice. 

The Buddy Program is free! You will be matched with someone who has similar interests to you but is further along in their relocation experience. They will contact you and arrange a phone or video chat once a week for 4 weeks. During that time they will also provide you with 4 tips and 4 pieces of advice from their experience that can contribute to an easier or more successful relocation experience.

The Buddy Program is voluntary, but your commitment is important - your fellow NetExpat Community member will be relying on you! You will be matched with someone who has similar interests to you but has recently relocated or is experiencing challenges. You will make contact to arrange a phone or video chat once a week for 4 weeks. During that time you will also provide 4 tips and 4 pieces of advice that you believe can contribute to an easier or more successful relocation experience. Keeping in touch after the first 4 weeks is great, but not required. The number of buddies you decide to support is completely up to you, there is no required commitment.
